Judi asked for prayers for the Residents who attended this REC (Residents Encounter Christ) weekend (July 18, 19 and 20) at the Female Detention Center of the Orange County Jail. May these ladies begin to make good choices and the seeds of understanding begin to grow. After the weekend Judi received the following prayer requests from one of the Table Leaders:

- Emily T - the Christ will show the way and help her to find her new life in Christ. For Noah her 2 yr old and her unborn child, Lynwod jr and her husband Lynwood sr that they can be a happy family and forgiveness for her sins
- Lauren B - help with forgiveness for herself and for others help her to lead her life with Christ to teach her unborn child about Christ for her judge to have mercy on her for housing/transportation so that she can give her baby the best life possible. Please pray for her dad - his health and he is going thru a divorce at 76 years old
- Yahaira C - for guidance and understanding and continuing prayer for her family
- Mary - love and peace for her family to be happy, healthy and to know they are loved
- Sandy - to fulfill Gods wishes and to handle the difficulties thrown at her
- Ashley - for her to forgive herself and not beat herself up. For her family and brother that they can stay on the right path
Judi asked for continued prayer for her family friend, Sandy, who previously underwent a mastectomy. An infection occurred in the operative site and she has had to have another surgery to remove the infection. Please pray for comfort, healing and recovery.
Mary Ann lived up a praise report that Darla's husband, Joe, is doing better. He has started cardiac rehab, started walking a few miles a day and even went out to dinner and a movie with Bette and her husband.
Karyl lifted up a praise report that her friends' daughter had her surgery - everything is fine, but she will be having radiation. Please pray for a successful outcome to this treatment.
Dreama's friend, Gail, moved here from Virginia (with 980 boxes!!!). She has been diagnosed with melanoma of her lung and will be undergoing a surgery to remove 25% of her lung. Please pray for the physicians, medical staff, successful surgery, comfort and healing.
Lois' neighbor suffers from COPD and has 18% use of his lungs. He is 70 years old and has signed up to be a candidate for a lung replacement. In addition to prayers for him, please pray for his wife, Deb, as this stirs up the realization that time is coming to the end. Please pray that they both develop a strong relationship with the Lord.
