The following is an update Judi received from the REC Prayer chain about Michael's surgery:
Dear Community:
We received the following update from Jill about Michael Beck.
Thank you for your love and prayers. The surgery took a lot longer than expected. He has two stents in and will have those removed in two weeks. They were successful in removing most of the cyst. He is being admitted to Shands due to how extensive it was. We are requesting no visitors so Michael can rest.
I will update more as we know more.
Love to All,
Jill Beck

Judi praised God for leading her to replace a Table Leader at the upcoming REC (Residents Encounter Christ) this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is a most special 3-day weekend held with 20 of the high risk offenders in the jail. These folks are typically awaiting transfer to the prison where they will likely spend a good part (if not all) of the rest of their lives. Please be in prayer for these residents - ask the Lord to help them open their ears, minds and hearts to the testimonies, discussions and sacraments they are about to receive. Please fill them with the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them into becoming strong Christians for the rest of their lives.
Jane brought us some good news about her friend Greg's surgery. His kidney was removed and it has been determined that the cancer was localized inside the kidney. He still has a long way to go with pain, discomfort, healing and recovery - with additional treatments. Please continue to keep Greg and his wife and family in your prayers.
As terror continues around the world through ISIS and other groups, please keep all people in your prayers, especially little children. We hear of so much suffering and torture and cannot even comprehend the fear in the lives of these people.
May God continue to bless you in your lives and to lead you in the ways He expects you to serve Him.
