Jane lifted up a praise about Tuesday's Prism concert at the Leesburg Public High School - they had a beautifully moving piece on Advent - very beautiful and KUDOS to the school for including a faith based piece!!!
Carol was so excited to share that her daughter and 2 granddaughters returned safely from their trip to Cape Cod. The girls had an amazing time and won gold medals in synchronized ice skating. She was so happy for them to be able to take this trip and have this adventure and she was so thrilled when they arrived back home safely.
Judi asked for all to pray for the upcoming REC (Residents Encounter Christ) 3-day weekend in Orlando's 33rd Street Jail. There will be two teams entering the facilities on Friday / Saturday / Sunday to bring the love of Christ to both the men and the women. This is an incredibly difficult time to be incarcerated. Your prayers will help to show the love of Christ to these people.
Judi asked for prayer for her Mentee, Summer, who is scheduled for court on Tuesday. It is likely it will be continued to January due to some another case this is dependent upon. Summer has been despondent since being ROR'd (released on own recognizance) because she has not been able to get a job - she's not living where she thought she would - she said she feels like she is lost.
Maryann asked for prayer for her son, Kevon, and his family as they deal with family difficulties. Kevon's son, wife and 2 children are living with him at this time. It can be a challenge all living in the same space when we open our hearts and our homes to loved ones.
Carol asks for continued prayer as her neighbor Randy and his wife struggle as ALS continues the rapid deterioration of Randy's body - he is now in a wheel chair and cannot speak.
Barbara thought it would be a great idea to ask for prayers for all of us - everyone is going through something - especially at this time of year.
Carol's friend Kathleen was a survivor of breast cancer several years ago. A new lump has been discovered and she is going for a biopsy. Prayers for a good diagnosis and strength for Kathleen as she travels this all too familiar path.
Lois reminded us to pray for Regan - the precious 5 year old granddaughter of Becky's friend. Later this night Lois texted Judi that she was in touch with Becky and learned that there will be no surgery at this time - PRAISE GOD and that chemo treatment will begin. If you recall from last week, this precious little one was facing amputation of a leg, removal of a lung and a hysterectomy. While not having these surgeries is a big WIN - the chemo will be hard on this little girl. Please keep her in your daily prayers.
Lucille's BFF's (Jane) daughter, Jen has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. This is very difficult for all after losing Jane to breast cancer some time ago. Please lift up your prayers that Jen will accept the Lord's will and that He provides her with strength to travel this road that she had to watch her Mom go through.
Judi asks for continued prayers for their friend Alan with pancreas / liver and lung cancer.
Judi's cousin, Fran, is undergoing breast cancer surgery this week. Praise the Lord that it was found early and is at a very low stage. Prayers for Fran and her husband, Sparky, as they travel this unknown path - prayers for the surgeon and the medical staff.
