I pray that all will stop and think about what is really important in our lives and make the most of it. Put a pause on the petty nonsense / drama / vengeance / political stabbing as each other's party and focus on what legacy we want to leave behind. Kimber says it so well - it's not about the time we have but what we do with that time.
From Shannon Harpel Stepp: I am so proud of Keith and the life he has lived. Keith made a change in our travel plans for next week. Instead of the greatest beauty the world has ever seen in Alaska, he is opting to stay home for the moment and anticipate the greatest beauty the heavens have ever seen! Please pray for our family. This is going so fast....it could be any day that he steps across the threshold and his path turns golden.
To say this has been the hardest month of my life would be an understatement. However, I am learning what it means to trust God when the world falls apart all around you.
Thank you dad for teaching me what true faith looks like. Life is not about the amount of time you have, but about how you spend that time.
Dad, I am so proud to be your daughter and will do my best to honor your legacy with a killer one of my own.
"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21
My Dad has been battling cancer for four years now. In the face of the end, he still stands with faith and selflessness. He wanted to encourage everyone else in a time when most people are living in fear themselves. I am so proud of this man and the way he has made himself an example of the best way to live your life, and the best way to leave this life. I couldn't have asked for a better Dad. I love you, Keith Stepp
