- Please lift up Vivian's granddaughter Rebecca who is in prison. She is not accepting any mail yet, but when she is it will be wonderful for her to know that we are praying for her - for the Lord to build a hedge of protection around her and a desire to use this time to open her mind, her heart, her ears and eyes to the Lord. Revelation 3:7 we know that "what He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. In 3.8 Jesus tells us "I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut" We pray for Rebecca to go through this open door where the Lord awaits her.
- Please keep Judi's brother, Bobby, and Kathy in your prayers as they continue to traverse the difficulties of the Alzheimer's disease. Please pray for the doctors to provide the best possible treatment to especially stave off the nighttime hallucinations and nightmares and to provide them with the greatest amount of quality time together.
- Linda K shared the vision problems her daughter's mother-in-law, Jan, had been experiencing. Sadly it was caused by a large brain tumor. Thankfully the surgeon was able to remove it. Chemo and post-op treatments are still ahead of Jan. While this diagnosis is never easy for anyone it has especially hard on Jan who was a a practicing psychologist who worked with brain injury patients.
- Judi asked for prayers for Alan - a long time family friend - who was recently diagnosed with pancreas, liver and lung cancer. A week ago today he was to receive results from a liver biopsy. Emails have been sent keeping Alan and Sandy, his wife, in prayer but no word on the biopsy has been received by Judi.
- Judy W's young (35 years old) friend, Kanoa, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has requested aggressive treatment. Her faith is very strong and Kanoa has already said if the treatment is not successful they (Kanoa, her husband and two children) will move to her Dad's and live out her live surrounded by her immediate family.
- Praise for Judy W's brother who had a successful knee surgery - they were able to perform the surgery without general anesthesia (which he did not do well with during a prior surgery). An epidural kept him from a repeat of previous issues and Judy W was able to speak to him today. He still will have a time of healing and therapy ahead of him.
